I guess I don't really have much to talk about, since all my life is at the moment is exams!  I can't wait until the Summer so I can just have a break from all this pressure.

There's been a big reveal in the iamamiwhoami viral campaign.  I know it seems like this blog is about iamamiwhoami, but it's honestly one of the most amazing things I've ever seen.  I seriously recommend watching the videos (from the oldest to the newest), because the videos are just fantastic and the music is great.  'o' is one of the best tracks I've ever heard, it's just phenomenal.  Anyways, the big 'reveal'.  It wasn't actually revealed by the creators, it was uncovered by fans.

So if you look at the videos, they have odd names.  The first six have strings of numbers, and the ones after are lettered.  The theory so far, and what has been from the start, is that the videos are going to spell out a word.  So far, the letters are: B O U N.  From the start of this theory, the 'final word' has changed continually from 'bionic' to 'Britney Spears'.  More recently, as the letters have been revealed, people guessed that it was 'bounty'.

Some fans done some digging and came across a site called iambounty.com.  Obviously, this would tie into the title of the campaign 'iamamiwhoami' and the word 'bounty'.  There's not much on the actual site - just a small picture of a hand with the letter 'b'.  The theory is that the campaign was possibly going to be called 'iambounty' and changed, or the website was intended to be used but abandoned.  The site was registered to Jonna Lee last June, and is going to expire in a couple of weeks, so this pretty much 100% confirms that she is involved.  As if it wasn't obvious...

There is also a now deleted MySpace page whose blog you can look at on 'cached'.  There's nothing to see on the actual page.  Somebody identified the small profile image they had as being Japan and Korea, but saying as it was deleted a long time ago, it may have nothing to do with the campaign.

There is a Youtube account by the name of 'IamBounty' and the page decipts that they are from Russia, they are 20 years old and they created the account in November.  It is likely that it was part or will be part of the campaign, since they logged in one month ago.  There is also a @iambounty Twitter account, and they have previously had around 45 tweets which people are trying very hard to track.

The number '6' has been quite prominent in the series, so it's just amazing that this discovery has come out on 6/6!

Heart or Fears?

Ever since I started Secondary School (Middle School and High School in the UK), I've had so many problems with friends that I've lost count.  My two best friends and only friends from Primary School went to another school together, so I was left on my own.  Which I guess was a good thing.  I was alone in a sea of 1500 people, and I had to learn how to deal with things the hard way.

The real issues started in Year 8, the second year.  Looking back now, everything seems so trivial and I now realise what caused all the problems.  Those problems carried on until Year 10, which is the year I am now at the end of.  The past three years have been filled with manipulation and lies, and I feel so angry for not realising it at the time.

That's why lately I've been feeling particularly angry and upset lately.  Not at anybody else, but at myself.  The answers were right there, in front of my face the entire time.  I was so unhappy for so long, and those people that I confided in always gave the same answer: 'Leave them, you can do so much better.  Find some friends who really care about you and won't treat you badly'.  I always kidded myself that either things would change, or that I was just being stupid and it was just a faze I was going through.

In the end, you've got to follow your heart and not your fears.  You will end up in a better place.

Art

Like always, upon the release of the new iamamiwhoami video, I was busy analysing it along with the lovely people on the official Youtube page.  Somebody joined in the conversation (well, I say joined in) and started criticising people about the fact that we are avid supporters and followers of this amazing campaign.

I told her that we were all there to appreciate and love the art that this anonymous user has created and that if she didn't like it, she didn't have to stay.  An argument arose between all the fans and this girl about whether the viral campaign is art.

Personally, I think it is art.  The videos are educational, they are visually amazing, the music equally so, and some of the fashion that the leading lady is encased in is just beautiful.  In my eyes, it is art.  I often view things that have deeper meaning that what you see on the surface as art, and it takes real skill and intelligence to pull it off.

Of course, art is subjective.  What I may see as art may well be nothing at all to you.  I think that it is important to respect and have the skill to appreciate art, whether you personally agree or not.  It's about respect amongst society and the knowledge that there are variation in people's views and beliefs.

It's so difficult to give a definition of what art is.  Society's view of what is beautiful or is art is constantly changing as society develops and art expands, and we are presented with different offerings of what art could be.

It really saddens me that people go so low to try to belittle people who view something as art and you don't agree with them.  Art is what you make it.

I don't know if any of you have ever watched any of the iamamiwhoami videos.  If you read my now deleted old blog, you'd see that I'm really facinated by the viral campaign.

Anyways, they posted a new video a few hours ago called 'n'.  It's so beautiful, both visually and musically.  She looks so pretty when she's wrapped up in the salad!  (Yes, I do understand how weird that must sound prior to watching)

I'd recommend watching it.  In fact, I'd recommend watching it all.  If you're going to do that, I suggest watching from the oldest video to the most recent, it will make a lot more sense that way.  I don't want to say too much about it because it is honestly an amazing campaign and I don't want to spoil it!
