iam...bounty?
I guess I don't really have much to talk about, since all my life is at the moment is exams! I can't wait until the Summer so I can just have a break from all this pressure.
There's been a big reveal in the iamamiwhoami viral campaign. I know it seems like this blog is about iamamiwhoami, but it's honestly one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. I seriously recommend watching the videos (from the oldest to the newest), because the videos are just fantastic and the music is great. 'o' is one of the best tracks I've ever heard, it's just phenomenal. Anyways, the big 'reveal'. It wasn't actually revealed by the creators, it was uncovered by fans.
So if you look at the videos, they have odd names. The first six have strings of numbers, and the ones after are lettered. The theory so far, and what has been from the start, is that the videos are going to spell out a word. So far, the letters are: B O U N. From the start of this theory, the 'final word' has changed continually from 'bionic' to 'Britney Spears'. More recently, as the letters have been revealed, people guessed that it was 'bounty'.
Some fans done some digging and came across a site called iambounty.com. Obviously, this would tie into the title of the campaign 'iamamiwhoami' and the word 'bounty'. There's not much on the actual site - just a small picture of a hand with the letter 'b'. The theory is that the campaign was possibly going to be called 'iambounty' and changed, or the website was intended to be used but abandoned. The site was registered to Jonna Lee last June, and is going to expire in a couple of weeks, so this pretty much 100% confirms that she is involved. As if it wasn't obvious...
There is also a now deleted MySpace page whose blog you can look at on 'cached'. There's nothing to see on the actual page. Somebody identified the small profile image they had as being Japan and Korea, but saying as it was deleted a long time ago, it may have nothing to do with the campaign.
There is a Youtube account by the name of 'IamBounty' and the page decipts that they are from Russia, they are 20 years old and they created the account in November. It is likely that it was part or will be part of the campaign, since they logged in one month ago. There is also a @iambounty Twitter account, and they have previously had around 45 tweets which people are trying very hard to track.
The number '6' has been quite prominent in the series, so it's just amazing that this discovery has come out on 6/6!
